I love how Ms. Shapiro's class took their lesson about insects and merged it with the STEAM Carts! They drew their insect, labeled the parts and then used the LEGOs to design their insect! So cool! Kids were able to take their basic 2D image and make it come to life with their LEGOS.
Ms. Shapiro - thanks you for adding these fabulous images to your STEAM Showbie Class!
hAPPy Friday! Adobe Spark Video, formerly Adobe Voice, is a simplified video editing tool that can include pictures, up to 30 seconds of video, narration and a soundtrack. You can trim clips easily and add several themes. Videos are posted online and can be save to the the camera roll. Teachers could use this app to create a video newsletter, directions for small group instruction including videos for stations, centers and/or workshops. Happy video-creating!
One of my all time favorite apps is the simple presentation app: Shadow Puppet EDU. For more information on how to use Shadow Puppet Edu, check out the App Integration Sheet and see a ton of lesson ideas below. We also had a couple of BCE students use Shadow Puppet to describe their artwork, see Caty's explanation above!
