THANKSGIVING is a time to thank people. A time to remember the first Thanksgiving. A time to eat turkey. A time to enjoy football. A time to eat until your belly is full. A time to eat pumpkin pie. A time to give thanks. Thanksgiving is a time to eat. A time to be thankful for all of the things have like your family and food and friends. Thanksgiving is a time to be hungry! A time to celebrate the things that you have! It is a time to eat pie and have fun times with your family. It is a time to get together. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for what you have.

Veteran's Day is a day where we all celebrate all the people that fought for our country and still do now. Last Friday Barton Creek celebrated it by singing songs, making speeches, watching videos, and thanking everyone who was serving our country or still serving now. This year we had LT Fred Bednarski speak at our assembly and Ms. Samantha Prate sing our national anthem. We thank you all that serve(d) our country and Happy Veterans Day!
A BIG thank you to our Veteran's Day Committee! You might be seeing on Barton Creek’s Social Media (on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) the hashtag #kidpost. Well, that because Barton Creek has a new team called the Social Media Team. It’s a group of 4th grade students collecting photos for the Blog and Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to keep you caught up on what’s happening at BCE! We also would like to thank our amazing educational technologist, Mrs.Pampe! Make sure to go cheek it out! #kidpost #SocialMediaTeam
